The PetSafe Smart Feed Automatic Pet Feeder is an automatic pet feeder for dogs and cats that connects to your smartphone. Unique technology allows you to schedule, monitor, and adjust your pet’s feeding schedule remotely with a user-friendly smartphone app. Download the free app to your mobile device, connect the feeder to wi-fi, and enjoy convenient meal scheduling from anywhere.
The PetSafe Smart Feed Automatic Pet Feeder holds 24 cups of dry or semi-moist food. Meals can be scheduled for up to 12 times daily in sizes from 1/8 cup to 4 cups per meal. The optional Slow Feed setting dispenses meals in small amounts over 15 minutes for pets who tend to eat too quickly. The Feed Now option lets you serve a meal on demand any time from the app or with the push of a pet-proof button on the feeder.
The PetSafe Smart Feed Automatic Pet Feeder includes a stainless steel bowl with a removable holder to prevent your pet from tipping or moving the bowl. These components and the upper compartment where food is added are all dishwasher safe, top rack only. The PetSafe Smart Feed Automatic Pet Feeder includes an AC power adapter and has a backup battery option using 4 D batteries (not included).
To connect your PetSafe Smart Feed Automatic Pet Feeder to your smartphone app, a 2.4GHz (802.11b/g/n) wireless router is required. Compatible devices for the mobile app are iPhones or iPods with iOS 9.0 or later and Android smartphones version 5.0 or later. One feeder can be controlled from multiple family members’ smartphones. Multiple feeders also can be controlled from one smartphone.

Schedule up to 12 daily meal times with portions from 1/8 to 4 cups. If you have a fast eater who gulps and vomits, set the unique Slow Feed option to dispense meals slowly over a 15-minute period. To feed your pet outside of normal meal times, simply use the Feed Now option in the app or on the feeder.

How did you come up with the idea for this product?
In our connected world, we almost always have our phone in hand. We are on the go and cannot always be home at meal time to feed our pets. The Smart Feed was born out of innovation and love for our own pets to bring pet feeding into the modern world. This product makes feeding easy, convenient and worry-free for today’s busy pet parents and helps make our pets less stressed about meal time. The results are happier pets and owners!
